Been a Year

Well its been almost a year and of course with college I've been busy but with my day off I drew some Captain America pieces for a tribute and because I was bored. Here they are

First one here is from the new Civil War comics where Captain America meets his ultimate demise. Though the comic never actually shows him dead but only on a hospital bed apparently since the news has covered the issue he's dead. Anyway its off of the cover where Iron Man and Captain America two superhumans who are on opposing sides of the Civil War meet in an old private avengers meeting place and take part in hand to hand combat. Pretty thrilling scene but Cap ultimately comes on top, which is expected since it's been said noone can beat him in hand to hand.

The second one here is from Cap's debut in 1941 where he famously punched Hitler right in the face. My drawing is really poor but it shows the old cap with his first mask which really was a helment. Little history behind it is that it almost came off and almost revealed his secret identity so Captain America changed it so the mask was connected to the rest of his costume. He also has the old triangle shape sheild which was later changed into the circle one because the comic was under a lawsuit about the sheilf resembling the other super hero who used a shield knows The Sheild, how original.

Anyway this is my recognition towards a comic book legend that was created during the harsh times of World War II. It's a shame he had to pass during another struggle over in Iraq.

Ter-Ter! Great to see you're up and running again. I'm not going to criticize you for not posting, because, I myself, have been slacking lately with my posts. How's da ville?
